Sword of Lt Col. William Thornhill, 7th Hussars

Post by Richard » Tue Apr 23, 2019 4:14 pm

This is an 1821 Light Cavalry officer's sword by Elizabeth Gill with etched blade of GRIV and 'Lt. Col. Thornhill, 7th Hussars 1826'.

Stupidly I sold it in 1987. I really want it back - does anyone know where it is???

Hello Richard is the blue or black oxide on the hilt considered original finish?
