"AF" stamp on cavalry sword and scabbard?

Postby Matt Easton » Mon May 19, 2014 1:49 pm

Hi,

I wonder, do any of you know what 'AF' might stand for when stamped between the trooper and rack number on a cavalry trooper's sword? This is an 1853 pattern incidentally.

Thanks,
Matt
