Sword of Lt George Hodges 3rd/13th Light Dragoons

Postby Bryce » Tue Jun 26, 2018 3:09 am

G'day Guys,

Does any one here have, or know the whereabouts of this sword which belonged to Lt George Hodges of the 3rd/13th light dragoons? It is a 1796 pattern light cavalry sword with a pipe-back blade by Osborn and Gunby. It was sold In Bonhams' Waterloo Sale in 2015. The reason I ask is that I would like to know if it has any G stamps on the ricasso, as it can be reliably dated to between 1812 and 1815.
Cheers,
Bryce
